Visiting the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher

​Ranked as one of the top 20 US Aquariums on Trip Advisor, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher is a great place to learn more about marine life in the area.

The aquarium has interactive exhibits, touch tanks, live feedings, and dive shows inside the two-story ocean exhibit with sharks.

One of my favorites moments during our visit was seeing this guy - an albino alligator!

I got lots of photos of him walking towards me, out of the mist.  It was kind of cool -- although it might have been scary had it been in the wild and not in an aquarium.  Just sayin'

If you've been around my blog long enough, you know I love flowers.  So I was happy to see that they had an outdoor garden.
