The Sacher Torte is a dense chocolate cake, filled with a thin layer of apricot jam and covered in a dark chocolate icing.

Both Demel and Cafe Sacher claim to have the original - but a court battle decided who could call it the Original and who had to settle for Eduard Sacher Torte.
