In my recent blog post, I shared the refreshing benefits of watermelon juice—hydrating, nutrient-packed, and the ultimate summer thirst-quencher. With Memorial Day just around the corner, I thought it was the perfect time to take things up a notch. Enter: Watermelon Lemonade 🍉🍋

This vibrant drink combines the natural sweetness of fresh watermelon with the zesty brightness of lemons, creating a fun and flavorful twist on classic lemonade. It’s easy to make, incredibly refreshing, and just the thing to serve at your next backyard gathering or picnic in the sun. Bonus: it looks just as good as it tastes.
Watermelon Lemonade

Ingredients:
4 cups fresh watermelon chunks (seedless)
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
½ cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
2 cups cold water (or sparkling water for a fizzy twist)
Ice cubes
Lemon slices, fresh mint or basil (for garnish)
Picture
Instructions:

Add the watermelon chunks to a blender and blend until completely smooth. Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove pulp, if desired.

Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey or agave syrup. Mix well until the sweetener is fully dissolved.

Add 2 cups of cold water (or sparkling water if serving immediately) and mix again. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed.

Fill glasses with ice. Pour the watermelon lemonade over ice, garnish with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh mint or basil.

Enjoy!

💪 Health Benefits of Watermelon Juice
1. Ultra-Hydrating:
Watermelon is about 92% water and contains electrolytes like potassium, making it a great natural hydrator—especially after exercise or a hot day outdoors.
2. Rich in Antioxidants:
It’s packed with lycopene and vitamin C, two powerful antioxidants that help protect cells from damage, support skin health, and may reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
3. Supports Heart Health:
Lycopene has been linked to lowering cholesterol and blood pressure levels. Watermelon also contains citrulline, an amino acid that may improve blood flow and reduce blood pressure.
4. Soothes Muscles:
Citrulline may also help reduce muscle soreness after workouts—great news if you’re staying active!
5. Naturally Low-Calorie:
With no added sugars needed, watermelon juice is naturally sweet and low in calories, making it a satisfying, guilt-free treat.

Iced London Fog Latte
Servings:1
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag (or 1 tsp loose leaf)
  • ½ cup (120 ml) hot water
  • ½ cup (120 ml) cold milk (dairy or plant-based like oat, almond, or soy)*
  • 1–2 tsp vanilla syrup (or ½ tsp vanilla extract + 1 tsp honey or maple syrup)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: pinch of dried lavender (for a floral note)
Picture
Instructions:
Steep the Earl Grey (and lavender, if using) in ½ cup hot water for 3–5 minutes. Remove tea bag or strain leaves. Let it cool slightly or chill in the fridge for a few minutes.

Stir in vanilla syrup or your sweetener of choice while the tea is still warm, so it dissolves easily.

Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour the sweetened, cooled tea over the ice.

Add cold milk over the tea and stir gently to combine.

Sprinkle with dried lavender or add a lavender sprig for a beautiful finishing touch.
*Best Nut Milks for a London Fog:
  • Almond milk – light and slightly nutty, works great if you don’t mind a thinner texture.
  • Cashew milk – creamier than almond, with a more neutral taste.
  • Macadamia milk – rich, buttery, and smooth — an excellent choice for lattes.
  • Hazelnut milk – adds a warm, toasty flavor that pairs beautifully with Earl Grey.
💡 Tips:
  • Want a stronger tea flavor? Use 2 tea bags for a more robust brew.
  • Use cold-brewed Earl Grey for extra smoothness and zero bitterness

What's in a London Fog?
Simply put, a London fog recipe is steeped tea combined with sweetened, frothed milk. It's like a vanilla latte, but made with tea instead of coffee.

Other names for a London fog are:
Earl Grey Latte
Tea Latte
Earl Grey Lavender Latte
London Fog Latte
London Fog Latte (Earl Grey Tea Latte)
Servings: 1
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
1 Earl Grey tea bag (or 1 tsp loose leaf)
½ cup (120 ml) boiling water
½ cup (120 ml) milk (dairy or plant-based like oat, almond, or soy)*
1–2 tsp vanilla syrup (or ½ tsp pure vanilla extract + 1 tsp honey or sweetener of choice)
Optional: pinch of dried lavender (for a floral twist)
Picture
Instructions:
Steep the Earl Grey tea (and lavender, if using) in ½ cup of boiling water for 3–5 minutes. Remove tea bag or strain leaves.

Heat the milk in a small saucepan or microwave until hot but not boiling. Froth using a frother, whisk, or by shaking in a sealed jar.

Add vanilla syrup (or vanilla extract + honey) to your brewed tea. Stir well.

Pour the frothed milk over the tea. Spoon foam on top for that classic latte look.

Garnish (Optional):
Top with a sprinkle of dried lavender or a dusting of cinnamon for extra coziness.

Pro Tip for Frothing:
If you want that classic foamy latte top, go for barista-style nut milks — they’re formulated to froth well and hold structure.

Want it iced? Use cold-brewed Earl Grey, chilled milk, and pour over ice with vanilla
