I was in Lisbon last November (2021) when the Christmas decorations were going up but hadn't been lit yet. It seems that Lisbon (actually all of Portugal) goes all out with their Christmas decorations around town. So I couldn't wait to check them out.
Unfortunately lots of rain and a cold kept me from exploring more.
After being sick for 8 days with a cold (thankfully it wasn't COVID) and during Christmas, I finally felt well. Since I had an extreme case of cabin fever, last night I decided to venture out to see the holiday lights around downtown Lisbon.
I decided to get off the metro at Rossio station, meander to Baixa and then down to Praça do Comércio.
On Rua Agusta on my way to Praça do Comércio.
