1.2 Bringing Your Ideal Day to Life
In “1.1 Your Current Reality” lesson, you learned that your thoughts, visions, feelings and vibrations became things ~ whether consciously or unconsciously, good or bad. You also took a realistic assessment of where you are currently.
The question then becomes:
How can you maintain a permanent state of positive vibrations?
Well, let me tell you this...there is no higher vibrational state than being in tune with your true self.
Knowing who you are and what you truly want – and keeping this knowledge in the forefront of your brain by spending a little time each day focusing on it – is an incredibly powerful tool for personal growth and life transformation.
You are what you vibrate and the easiest way to keep yourself vibrating on high is this: be You.
The next step is to begin adjusting your days to include more of the details that you’ve designed in your Ideal Day from the Deliberate Creation Discovery Guide to create the life you want.
If one of your desires was to live in your dream home by the ocean, while you may not be able to do that just yet, you can wake up and enjoy watching a sunrise with a luxurious cup of tea.
When taken seriously, you’ll begin to make more conscious choices about how you spend your time and live your life. The more aspects of your ideal day you incorporate into your current reality, the closer you’ll be to living out the ideal life that you’ve designed for yourself.
Remember everything in your current life is a vibrational match to the current you. If you want something different you have to change your vibrational state by taking different action.
If this exercise is overwhelming and you don’t know where to start, choose one thing from your ideal day that you commit to doing over the next 7 days. Then, add another and so on.
Complete the following: This week, I will commit to adding ___________________ to my day.
I recommend that you read through your Ideal Day often. Visualize it (for at least 5 minutes each day, preferably in the morning)! Be fiercely committed to living it. Before you know it, you’ll be living the life you designed.
The best way to start creating a life you love is to create the feelings you desire and change your current vibrational state. If you want to shed extra pounds, have that new Louis Vuitton handbag or make $5,000/month, you must stop putting your life on hold.
Waiting until you are a size 6 or having $10,000 in the bank before you create your dream life is keeping you paralyzed in your own life.
Remember this equation: wait = weight.
And, more weight = more misery.
You have to step out of your comfort zone ~ your current vibrational state.
Homework
1. Over the next week, take yourself to AT LEAST two unfamiliar environments or do something you’ve NEVER done before, preferably BOTH.
Three unfamiliar environments and new experiences would be even better! Go somewhere you’ve never been before. Try something you’ve never done. Preferably at the same time.
Yes, you can definitely do something new and different in the privacy of your own home, but you absolutely WILL want to get out of your familiar environment if you really want to give yourself a solid foundation to start from.
Doing household chores like organizing your home office doesn’t count. Don’t pick things you “like” or are necessarily drawn to as an area of interest. In fact, the more afield and strange these environments are to you, the better.
Here’s a list of possibilities to get you started! Remember ... if you ALREADY do any of these things on a regular basis, they DO NOT count. Use these examples to stretch your imagination.

Rock-climbing gym
Farmer’s market
Jazz club

Another great place to research new things to do is Meetup.com - you don’t necessarily need to go to a Meet-up group, but even looking at locations of various Meet-ups can serve as inspiration for things to do. Also be sure to look through your local community newspaper’s calendar section for further ideas.
You do not need to spend a ton of money on being in an environment - for example, if you never go anywhere “fancy,” just sitting in the bar of a five-star restaurant and having a soda will do!
Once you have done these, head on over to the Facebook group and let us know what you did and how it felt.
2. Shake Up Your Food Routine
One of THE most fundamental human activities we engage in is eating! Food represents so much more to us than just physical nourishment - it is about tradition, community, comfort, fun. And with all the immense variety of foods available to us, we tend to eat the same things over and over.
This month, shake up your current food routine as much as possible!
If you have a tendency to eat the same thing every day or close to every day, change it up! So if you have cereal for breakfast every single morning - have eggs! Or fruit. Or yogurt. Or a sandwich ...
Bring home new ingredients from the grocery store and cook with them, if you cook.
Order new things at your favorite restaurant.
Go to different restaurants altogether and order foods you wouldn’t normally eat.
3. (Optional) Change Your Appearance
If you are drawn to do so (and want to play full out!) then change up your personal appearance a bit!
If you normally wear pants, try wearing skirts. If you usually go without make-up, put some on ... and vice versa. Or get dramatic with it and vamp it up, even if you’re just running to the store. If you normally wear t-shirts, wear dress shirts. If you normally wear dress shoes, try flip flops (if appropriate to your environment, of course). Do your hair differently.
Dig into your closet and do things differently. What we put on our bodies can dramatically alter the way we feel.
4. Bonus Points: Start a Pinterest board (or a Vision Board using magazine cutouts on paper) that captures the essence of your ideal day. Possible categories are: nature, home, style, food, travel, work.
