You'll have about 10 minutes on each floor. I would suggest looking on the internet for photo ideas to save time. Although, one of the workers helped us with our poses.
Step into a world of optical illusions with a visit to the Upside Down House in Brighton, England!
The Upside Down House in Brighton, England is a mind-bending architectural marvel that defies gravity.
This unique attraction has become a popular destination for tourists with its topsy-turvy interior and surreal visual experience.
The two-story house, located next to the Brighton i360 on the seafront, has a bathroom, play room, bedroom, lounge and kitchen that you can explore.
You'll have about 10 minutes on each floor. I would suggest looking on the internet for photo ideas to save time. Although, one of the workers helped us with our poses.
Tickets were £6.95 per person when I visited in August, 2023, but be sure to check their website.

I just returned from a week's vacation in Brighton England with two day trips to London to visit Kew Gardens among other sights. I can't wait to share more post with you about what I saw and did. But in the meantime, let me tell you about this "quirky" sculpture sitting prominently on Brighton's seafront. Anyone walking along the Brighton seafront for the first time might do a double take and ask themselves “Why is this massive metal doughnut here?”
In 1998, the Brighton council commissioned sculptor Hamish Black to create this 2.2 ton masterpiece. His creation, officially is called “Afloat”, is supposed to resemble what the universe looks like. Some scientists think that the Universe looks like a big doughnut. It may or may not look like the Universe, but it’s a great place to take selfies and has a perfect view of the Brighton Pier. Don’t you agree? |
