As I mentioned above, we went with Blue Fleet, one of the many companies in the Lagos marina.
1. The trip is about 75 minutes from when you take off. You’ll need to be there early, however, to meet the group and get a safety briefing (Blue Fleet’s office is in the train station by the marina). 2. In the summer I recommend booking ahead, to make sure they don’t sell out. In “shoulder season”, there should be plenty of boats running. We were visiting in January, so very off-season. 3. Price is €25 per person (but be sure to get the most recent pricing). 4. Depending on the time of the year and the time of your tour, you may wear long-sleeve shirt and lightweight pants. 5. Be sure to bring sunscreen as the sun can be pretty intense. |
One of the best boat tours in the Algarve is the Ponta da Piedade boat tour where you'll see hidden caves, beaches, and grottoes. **This post may contain affiliate links. I receive a small amount of compensation when you purchase from my links which help to keep this blog running.** The day before yesterday, we hiked from the town of Lagos along the coast to Ponta da Piedade. Today, my last full day in Lago, we decided to see the Ponta da Piedade, with its majestic cliffs and cages, from the sea on a boat with Blue Fleet. A few key details for booking your Ponte de Piedade boat trip Here's a compilation of the videos and some of the photos I took on our tour. Have a look see. If you prefer photos, check out this slideshow of the cliffs and caves. Recommended Posts
